I want to dive right smack into the middle of your photos! It snowed at my house all week.
Where, oh where, is Spring!
I miss my home. My Texas home - that hot, steam rising off the tarmac, mega super humid kinda Texas. It's so hot there, you can't draw a full breath until you find solace in the shade. I just freeze like a Popsicle here in Oregon. haha! Eskimo Sherri. That's me.
LOVE the photos sweets - I needed this post badly! So happy I stopped by -

Lovely Photos Barbara, I'm feeling a bit sad as we are just about to enter the cold wintery season here in Australia, summer was so hot and dry down our way we missed out on masses of flowery blooms, never mind cross our fingers we will have more rain for next year, in the meantime I'll enjoy visiting your blog for my garden enjoyment

Hi Barbara,

You are killing me with this wonderful post. I am losing it here in New England. It is still very cold, and it either rains, snows or sleets. It can't make up its mind.

The only thing coming up right now are my hostas and some tini tiny purple florettes of something a friend gave me years ago and I can't remember the name. They look like little purplish daisies, but they are only about 1" wide. Maybe you would know them. (Not Grape Hiacynth)!

Enjoy your warm weather my friend.

Just gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your blooms with us. I love a walk through the garden, and yours is lovely.

I've never heard of that bird. It has such unusual markings.

Hi Barbara, What a beautiful garden. You are further along then me, my garden is still just a few inches out of the ground. I'm further north, so I have to wait longer for my blooms. Love the fact that you are doing photograph Saturday's. I will have to check back to see what you post each week.

I don't think I've ever had that shade of pink in a pansy. And I have lots of pansies! Your flowers are gorgeous. Isn't it fun to stroll outside and see what's new everyday? Highlight of my day.

Out blog hopping and found your blog. What wonderful, WONDERFUL photos.

We rarely get flickers, but I'm hoping to get a pic of one the year. We're no where near as far along in our spring as you are.

Hi Barbara,
Your flowers are beautiful and so refreshing. It seems you have a garden full...:) Mine are slowly blooming and I'm finding out which areas will be the best for planting at my new home. I've never heard of a Flicker, but it is a charming little birdie....!!!

All of these blooms are absolutely breath-taking! We still have snow on the ground - at least I can enjoy Spring vicariously through your photos.

Beautiful spring blooms! I love the ornamental quince. I have to look for one of those. A few years ago I planted a quince tree and last year was the first year we actually got some fruit!

Thanks for the kind comment on my blog! I will check out that OpenSource Food site!

Such beautiful images of a gorgeous garden. It is still pretty cold in New England and even though we see a bit of buds trying to come up, and the Robins are here announcing Spring, we are still waiting for warmer weather. Your blog is beautiful. Karen
