Well, sugar, thank you for your sweet comment. I remember you, of course—one of the best editors as far as I'm concerned; although, you turned down some photos I had several years ago! LOL But I hold no ill feelings, my little chickadee. Now, where did you say you lived in the U.S. and just don't look in the shadows toooooo closely for a 70 year old chick with a knife in her hand. You do know I'm just kidding, right?!?! I live a quiet life in Idaho. Nice to have you comment. I can't believe the snow is up to your door! You must live in the......oh, don't tell me because then you'd have to kill me..... This family has a warped sense of humor, trust me, sweetpea.
And truly, thank you for the comment. I appreciate them all.
Oh Barbara, these pictures just chilled this beach gal to the bone!
I'm so glad you stopped by The Hut, I was off blogging for a few months and have only returned recently. I just love your blog (I have your book in my sidebar), you give me such fabulous ideas. I want to try to make a table like that "sea shell" one you posted recently.
Did you see my seashell Christmas tree from last Wednesday? I had such fun putting it together.
Merry Christmas dear Barbara and try to stay warm!
I'm not sure if my comment was saved, so I'll try again. :) Your snow is gorgeous, but I hope you don't have to go out in it! We have had a mild Winter here in CO (so far). Stay warm & safe! Zuzu
What pretty pictures, but not a pretty scene if you need to get around! I hope you have your power. We are SO used to this in the Midwest and so far we have been spared. Well...January is coming! ;-)
My goodness were you ever hit hard by the snow!! Usually here in Michigan, it looks like that in January, lol!! It is beautiful but I tire of it so quickly! Stay safe and warm :)
Some of you may recognize me from the photos that were printed on the editor's page of COTTAGE STYLE, ROMANTIC COUNTRY, COUNTRY VICTORIAN and FLOWER GARDENS magazine.
In 2007, after twenty-five years of editing decorating and gardening magazines, I decided to do something different. One of my first projects was to write a book. I'm currently a freelance writer and blogger. You can also find me at http://www.WatersideStyles.com

Gorgeous picks!! I'm so curious what I'm going to wake up to tomorrow Sunday morning!! It's been snowing now for hours.
How beautiful! That's what I call a real winterwonderland. I would love to be there to see it in person.

I know it's freezing cold, but it's so beautiful. Such peaceful imagery. Thanks for sharing it with us.
