hello barbara,

i came here from a nice comment you left on my blog. all i can say is WOW! your blog is lovely and your book...the cover is gorgeous. of course, i'm very drawn to your subject matter (i am 'atlantic beachlife') and i can't wait to see your book in person. i enjoyed scrolling through your blog and reading about you. i find people like you inspiring (and your photos are lovely too), with all that you do. i'll be visiting again to hopefully absorb some of your creative energy. congratulations on the publication of your lovely book. darn it, i think i missed the giveaway for it, and also for that lovely necklace from a previous giveaway :-)...but hey, you included my blog on your blogroll and I am thrilled and honored, seriously. thank you.

hi again barbara,

how thrilled i am to learn i am still in the running for your book giveaway. i was telling my husband about it this morning, in fact, then i logged on and saw your comment that there was still time for me to be entered. it looks like a truly lovely book and would be especially resonant here in our community. if i win, i'll bring it to our local bookstore, The Bookmark in Atlantic Beach, and see if the owner will order some copies. Are you doing a book tour? i think your books would see in at least a few shops i can think of around town. we are very 'coastal' in our attitude (well, we ARe on the coast of course!) and many are, in home design and decor. at any rate, the photographs look gorgeous. i'd just buy the book if our life was the same as it was a few years ago...i'd have thought nothing of just ordering it from amazon, or you, or wherever, but now i need to be very prudent, so...
we will see how this goes! i'm so pleased to have "met" you and i'll look forward to building community with you via our blogs.

again, you inspire me, and i like that!
