A TREE-MENDOUS STORM

It's the morning after the big storm and Belgium wants to go out and play.
Hey, mind if I head for the really deep snow?

Uh oh, I'm stuck!

Does the dog paddle work in the snow?

You bet it does!
Hey, look at that! What is that thirty-foot tree doing lying down?
It's sort of on top of the coop. I can see they're all safe inside but one side has a big hole in it. Shucks, it would have been fun to chase the chickens around in the snow.
Personally, if you ask me, I think they should just leave it like it is. From the right angle, it kind of looks like a gigantic evergreen shrub!
See for yourself. Here's a before photo from yesterday. That big thick trunk on the left of the coop is the one that fell over. Oh well, think I'll go eat some more snow. Later!

What a fun walk in the snow (says the Florida girl)! These photos are delightful!!! My Rowdy would have enjoyed the romp with your 4-legged friend.

Merry Christmas!

P.S. You could just haul the tree to the town square for some gigantic CHristmas tree! Glad the chickens are okay.

Oh, and BTW, thank you for your kind words on my blog. It is good to be back in bloggerland! :)

My dogs have never seen anything like that snow. Don't think they'd know what to do. Must have made your dog feel frisky!

Hi Barbara,
Belgium looks adorable playing in the snow. Beazy would just love it and be amazed to see snow like that. Living in Texas she has never been in deep snow.
You sure did get a lot of the pretty white stuff. Enjoy and stay safe.

Thank you for stopping by. It was wonderful to see you. I also want you to know, how much I have enjoyed your new book. It is a treasure.

Happy Holiday and all good wishes in the New Year!

Hugs, Celestina Marie

Gosh, you weren't kidding about that tree, looks like you'll have plenty of firewood this winter!

My Sheldon, a shore dog, wouldn't know what to do with all that white stuff. He's used to the white foam of our more tropical beaches. He'd probably put his tail between his legs and RUN back into the house. :)

Thanks so much Barbara for telling me about Dolph Gabeler. Newport RI based designer Cheryl Hackett-Galvin teamed up with him and creates all kinds of products for the home from the sails..., there was an article in Coastal Living too. So I think I'll include that in my upcoming post!

Merry Christmas!
